Many of our customers choose their coffee based on the roast of the beans rather than the flavor of the bean itself. A lighter roasted coffee allows the flavor of the particular bean to come through whereas a darker roasted one tastes more like the roast itself. For instance, our French roast coffee—the darkest roast available—is 95% roast flavor and 5% bean flavor.
